Our contribution
AlcoWood is assigning a high profile to trading forest products which originate from sources with sustainable forestry practices.
Wood is the only sustainable structural building material and it is CO2-neutral. We observe and respect the use of legally logged lumber and we give preference to FSC® certified wood.

AlcoWood is FSC® certified since september 2000.
FSC® certified woods, mainly from South America, are becoming increasingly available. Our efforts to also promote lesser known, secondary species, are an important contribution to helping sustainable forestry and hence maintain the tropical forests.
